I recently used the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream, and it quickly became one of my most trusted moisturizers for hydration. Designed for dry or dehydrated skin, this cream delivers up to 48 hours of moisture — a real bonus if your skin feels tight or needs a long-lasting barrier boost. It’s formulated with Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water, hyaluronic acid, and shea butter, which together deeply hydrate and help reinforce the skin’s protective barrier.

The texture is rich and buttery, yet it doesn’t feel overly heavy or greasy. It spreads easily and absorbs pretty well, leaving a soft, velvety finish. I used it mainly at night, but sometimes in the morning when my skin was especially dry, and it worked beautifully under makeup too.

After consistent use over a few weeks, I noticed that my skin looked plumper, smoother, and more resilient. The hyaluronic acid contributes to a slight plumping effect, and the mannose-plant sugar helps lock in moisture effectively. My dry patches were visibly reduced, and my complexion felt more comfortable overall.

On the downside, the cream does have a noticeable fragrance, which could be an issue if you have very sensitive skin. Also, because of its richness, some with oily or acne-prone skin may find it a bit heavy. But if dry or dehydrated skin is your main concern, this Vichy rich cream is a solid, dermatologist-trusted choice.
